DO I NEED TO TAKE EVERYTHING AS DIRECTED FOR 8-DAY JUMPSTART?
Yes. Simple answer for a simple question that is asked from time to time. It is not unlikely for some to lose up to 15 pounds in eight days with the 8-Day Jumpstart*. This plan was designed to encourage healthy weight loss. Each Xyngular product in the 8-Day Jumpstart was designed to work synergistically together for quick and healthy weight loss. Follow the instructions and recommendations we’ve outlined in the box.

WHAT IF I FORGET ONE OF MY SUPPLEMENTS DURING THE 8-DAYS?
We understand that you may forget to take something throughout the day when you’re doing the 8-Day Jumpstart. If that happens, don’t panic. Just continue on with the process as if you didn’t forget. Sometimes we allow small setbacks to become larger problems than they actually are. We make mountains out of mole-hills. Stay focused on your goals and don’t let a small mishap derail your journey. Now, here are some simple ways to make sure you don’t forget to take something during the 8 days:
- Write down your meal plans and schedule for each day. It’ll only take you 8 pieces of paper and if you type it, probably less. Look at it every few hours and check off each step throughout the day to keep you on track.
- For those of you who love digital reminders, program your schedule on your phone and set up alerts. If you’re into wearables like an Apple watch, you’ll get those notifications and never miss a beat.
WHAT IF A FOOD ISN’T LISTED ON THE APPROVED FOODS LIST?
This is another normal question we see. In Xyngular’s 8-Day Jumpstart resources, we list over 50+ approved foods. Combine this with our sample meal plans and delicious recipes specifically created for the 8-Day Jumpstart, the chances of you running out of meal and snack ideas are super low. Keep in mind, the Jumpstart only lasts for 8 days. This approved foods list isn’t something you have to adhere to for the rest of your life. We do mention it is a suggested list of approved foods. You’ll notice albacore isn’t listed, but this delicious option is nearly pure protein and one you can incorporate into your meal plan. When eating try your best to stay within the portion guidelines of what is recommended in each food option:
Lean Proteins (4-6 ounces per meal): foods that are rich in animal or vegetable protein and are low in fat. Not all proteins are created equal. A big juicy burger patty could contain as much as 25% fat.
Healthy Fats (1 serving per meal): polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fats are commonly known as “healthy fats” because they’re not bad for your heart or cholesterol levels. What we include in the approved foods list has over 10 options to choose from. Stick with what you see on this list. There is a lot of misinformation on the web about healthy fats.
Vegetables (1-2 cups per meal): We include over 30 vegetables on our approved list and incorporate these in many of the Jumpstart recipes on the Xyngular website. You won’t see vegetables like potatoes and yams on this list because they are known to be starchy and have high carb counts. If it is leafy and dark green you are probably safe.
High-Protein Snack (1 serving per Snack): hard-boiled eggs, a scoop of Lean Shake, and Turkey breast. The goal of these snacks is high protein and no added sugars. We have some really good ideas in the “What Are Some Easy Snack Ideas For The 8-Day Jumpstart?” section below.
HOW DO I MANAGE MY CRAVINGS AT NIGHT?
Knowing how to manage cravings at night starts with understanding what causes cravings. Not only is there a natural brain affinity towards sweets, but cravings may be caused by stress, hunger, or improper nutrition. Cravings are easily mistaken for hunger and appetite (there’s a difference), so knowing the difference is another helpful way of managing them. Here are five smart, easy, and effective ways to manage your cravings at night while on the 8-Day Jumpstart: drink water, manage your stress, do exercise during the day, get proper sleep, and make sure you don’t skip any meals! SHOULD I DO MULTIPLE JUMPSTARTS IN A ROW?
The short answer is NO. This is another common question we get asked and there may be advice out there that we would not recommend. Once you’ve finished with the 8-Day Jumpstart, you’ve most likely lost some pounds and inches. You feel the momentum. You’re energized and probably excited and motivated to continue on that path of more weight loss. Getting healthy is contagious! We understand. Your first reaction might be to want to do another Xyngular 8-Day Jumpstart right away. We recommend doing an 8-Day Jumpstart only once per month. This doesn’t mean your Xyngular weight loss journey needs to end immediately after the 8 days! Xyngular features many weight loss products aimed to support some of today’s most common health needs. Health needs you are most likely experiencing. A popular follow-up for those who do the 8-Day Jumpstart is to create a subscription to their favorite products. HOW MUCH WATER AM I SUPPOSED TO DRINK ON THE 8-DAY JUMPSTART?
You need to be drinking water regularly while on the 8-Day Jumpstart. Take your body weight in pounds, divide by 2 and that is the minimum number of ounces of water you should be drinking daily. Dehydration is a result of your body losing more fluid than you take in. When you experience dehydration, you can upset the balance of minerals in your system. If this happens, dehydration can lead to issues that may affect your results with the 8-Day Jumpstart. Dehydration can cause low energy levels, headaches, migraines, muscle cramping, and yes...weight gain. There are many misconceptions about drinking water and trying to lose weight. Follow the recommendation of drinking enough water every day.
HOW IMPORTANT IS MEAL PLANNING DURING THE 8-DAY JUMPSTART?
Benjamin Franklin said, “By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.” Meal prep and knowing what to eat and when to eat are vital to your success with the 8-Day Jumpstart. WHAT IF I FEEL HUNGRY DURING THE 8-DAY JUMPSTART?
The brain and body are complex and the forces behind eating is more than just the desire to eat, there’s a lot of chemistry happening as well. Hunger is a normal effect when the body undergoes new changes with diet and exercise. Don’t hit the panic button if you are experiencing hunger. Lowering your sugar intake, decreasing carbs, and for some significantly reducing your caffeine consumption will spark hunger at the on-slaught of any changes you incorporate. HOW DO I PREPARE MY BODY TO GET OFF OF SUGAR?
Sugar is in so many of our foods (unnecessary in some cases) and is a major part of our culture. Overcoming sugar cravings can be difficult. The key to overcoming any weight loss or health hurdle is preparation. Preparing your body to quit sugar is no different. If you have some time an effective way is to slowly wean your body off of sugar. One way to ease your body into the change is to substitute processed sugars found in candy, sweets, baked goods, and desserts for healthier options such as fruits. If you have a week to prepare (or a few days) for Xyngular’s 8-Day Jumpstart, begin reducing your sugar intake by at least 15% the first day. On the second day, reduce it by another 15% from the first day and so on. Make sure you are eating regularly and staying properly hydrated with water. HOW DO I PREPARE MY BODY TO STOP DRINKING COFFEE?
First of all, quitting coffee is not a requirement of the 8-Day Jumpstart, but if you love your coffee packed with cream and sugar, then you’re out of luck. You can have your coffee with any of the approved nut milk on our list of approved foods. That can often be a tough swap for people so if you want to quit coffee, one of the most successful ways to prepare yourself is to slowly reduce your coffee intake each day. If you want to quit in seven days, reduce your coffee consumption by a seventh each day. If you have some runway time leading up to when you want to quit, it’ll be easier than going cold turkey. In some cases, you may be required to quit coffee right away (maybe you’re starting your 8-Day Jumpstart tomorrow?). If this is the case, an effective approach is to find a healthy alternative to drinking coffee. Need some examples? Water. Water has some incredible health benefits associated with it and can help you with your coffee urges. It will also help satiate your body’s need for drinking a liquid. HOW DO I PREPARE MY BODY FOR A LOW-CARB DIET?
There’s a saying that goes something like this, “Proper preparation prevents poor performance.” This is especially applicable when preparing yourself for low carb. Proper preparation means having a plan. Plan for the urges. Plan for the changes your body will feel. Plan for hunger and cravings. Plan your meals. There are a lot of things you can do to help get the proper amount of sleep when on the 8-Day Jumpstart. Read a book, turn off the technology, dim the lights an hour before you want to sleep, and practice meditation are a handful of sleep-promoting activities. Another important aspect is to follow the guidelines for when you’re supposed to take Xyngular’s products. In the Jumpstart sample meal plan, hard-boiled eggs are merely a suggestion of a high-protein snack. Other high-protein snacks we suggest include lean shake (1 scoop) and turkey breast (3-5 oz.). Many of the foods listed in our lean proteins can also be substituted here. Before you resort to substitutions, experiment with your taste buds when it comes to the egg. Eggs are highly nutritious and not enough can be said about the health benefits of eating them. Lightly mix some of the herbs and spices listed on the vegetable list to take that simple hard-boiled egg to the next level of flavor-town. You’ll be surprised just how good a hard-boiled egg will taste. WHAT IF I DON’T LIKE SHAKES?
This is a question we hear and read about from time to time. Many of Xyngular’s shakes (Lean and Lean Meal) can be consumed all by themselves. We’ve designed them to taste good while also being nutritious. Realize that not all shakes are created equally. We too have tasted meal replacement and protein shakes and asked, “How could anyone ever drink this? It’s horrible.” That’s why we spent a lot of time researching how to make the best tasting AND nutritious shakes on the market. But...in the event that maybe there’s something about shakes you don’t like (and we doubt that’ll be the case with Xyngular), here are a couple of hacks to the game to boost your shake game.
