Is Chicken Okay on Keto?

Chicken is a dinner staple in many households, whether it’s being served as chicken nuggets, chicken tacos, broiled chicken, rotisserie chicken, or BBQ chicken, it’s a common item on the menu. That being said, meat and poultry are both considered key foods for the keto diet. Chicken is carb-free, yet full of B vitamins and several other minerals. However, it is recommended that you opt for dark meat, which will include more fat and iron and ultimately be more aligned with the keto lifestyle. If you are cooking a leaner cut of meat, you may want to try adding fat during the cooking process, whether it’s to add cheese, cream sauce, avocados, or anything else you can envision that will add fat to the dish. How Do I Make Crispy Stir Fry Vegetables?

The goal when making crispy stir fry vegetables is to keep the vegetables tender-crisp. Faster cooking times help achieve this result and help your vegetables to retain their color at the same time! Heat your saute pan or wok over high heat. It’s important to keep the heat high as this is what helps to achieve the tender-crisp vegetables. Heat the pan for a few minutes before adding olive oil. Cook a few vegetables at the time, removing them from the heat and setting aside on a plate before adding more. Cook, tossing often, looking for some browned areas and a tender vegetable. Constant stirring will keep your vegetables from burning. Want another Healthy Stirfry Recipe, well we’ve got you covered.
