Use only as directed. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have a pre-existing medical condition, are taking prescription medications, such as thiazide diuretics, corticosteroids, licorice root, medications which inhibit peristaltic movement (e.g. opioids, loperamide), blood thinners, protease inhibitors, cardiac medications such as cardiac glycosides or antiarrhythmic medications or other medications or health products which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance, if you have a kidney disorder, faecal impaction or symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomitting or fever. Consult a health care practitioner immediately if you experience chest pain, vomitting, or difficulty in swallowing or breathing after taking this product. Reduce dose or discontinue use if abdominal cramps, spasms and/or pain occur. May cause temporary gas and/or bloating.

Do not use in conjunction with a laxative unless otherwise instructed by a health care practitioner. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, suffer from any disorder or disease of the liver, gall bladder or colon, abnormal constrictions of the gastrointestinal tract, potential or existing intestinal blockage, atonic bowel, appendicitis, inflammatory colon disease such as Chrohn's disease or ulcerative colitis, abdominal pain of unknown origin, undiagnosed rectal bleeding, severe dehydration with depleted water or electrolytes, are experiencing a sudden change in bowel habits that has persisted for more than 2 weeks, undiagnosed rectal bleeding, or failure to defaecate following the use of another laxative product of have diabetes mellitus in which blood sugar is difficult to regulate.

Hypersensitivity is known to occur, in which case, discontinue use.
